Licensed Counselling Psychologist
Let's get to know each other.
From a young age, I found myself noticing the quiet struggles of people around me—those who were carrying emotional pain without the support they truly needed. Whether due to stigma or other life circumstances, many didn’t feel safe enough to ask for help. Witnessing this left a lasting impression on me and gradually shaped my path toward psychology—not as a career choice alone, but as a deep personal calling.

My academic journey began at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, and continued at the University of Oslo, where I studied Cognitive Neuroscience. There, I explored how the brain, mind, and behaviour are interconnected, using contemporary research tools to understand the science behind our inner world. Most recently, I completed a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology at the University of Nicosia—a space where theory met personal insight and therapeutic presence.

Philosophy
"Each person carries their own version of normal. Our thoughts, emotions, and experiences deserve respect—regardless of how others see them—since they hold the potential for healing in psychotherapy."
Experience
Throughout my clinical training, I sought to understand the shades and the nature of human suffering, and how we can meet it with care. I worked with different therapeutic approaches—psychoanalytic, psychodynamic, person-cantered, and cognitive-behavioural, not to find “the right one,” but to appreciate how each offer something meaningful depending on the person in front of us. I came to understand that therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all; it requires flexibility, humility, and deep respect for each person’s uniqueness.

That understanding naturally drew me to Schema Therapy, an integrative approach that gently explores the unmet emotional needs behind the patterns we repeat. With the people I work with, we create space for those needs to be seen, understood, and nurtured. What speaks to me most about this model is how it works not only with thoughts and behaviours, but with the emotional and experiential layers of who we are—often leading to lasting shifts in how people relate to themselves and others.
