Eleni Georgiou, MSc
Counselling Psychologist
Welcome, and great first step. My name is Eleni Georgiou, and I am a licensed
Counselling Therapist. My journey in the field of understanding human behavior and emotional wellbeing began when I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northumbria University in the UK.
I continued my studies and obtained my Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Nicosia where I was able to gain further understanding of the complexities of
emotional and relational growth but also develop my identity as therapist and understand the importance of long term therapy in achieving meaningful and personal growth.

Therapeutic Approach
Quote: ‘The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are. I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become’ Carl Jung
In my mental health practice, I work from a person-centred approach believing that every person has the innate capacity for growth, healing, and self- understanding when offered a safe and authentic therapeutic relationship.
My work is grounded in empathy, compassion, and genuine connection, creating a space where individuals feel heard, accepted, and understood without judgment.
I integrate different therapeutic perspectives to support each individual’s unique needs, helping them deepen self-awareness, navigate life’s challenges, and move towards a more authentic and meaningful way of living.”
I believe that therapy is not about “fixing” a person, but about creating a compassionate and collaborative space in which they can reconnect with themselves.
Within this safe therapeutic relationship, growth, insight, and meaningful, authentic change can gradually emerge.
