About me

My name is Andri Michael and I am a registered School / Educational Psychologist with Registration Number #980.

Regarding my academic background, I completed my studies in Psychology at the University of Cyprus, where I later specialized in School/Educational Psychology through a certified three-year postgraduate program accredited by the International School Psychology Association (ISPA).

During my postgraduate studies, I collaborated with the Developmental Psychopathology Lab of the University of Cyprus in conducting research as well as in data collection. Within the framework of this collaboration, I also carried out my master’s thesis, which focused on the topic: “School Bullying in Relation to Anxiety Disorders and Suicidal Ideation in Adolescents.”

My Philosophy

As a school psychologist, the philosophy that guides my work is based on the belief that every child has unique potential and deserves an environment in which they can grow emotionally, socially, and academically.

My goal is to stand alongside children, parents, and educators, building bridges of understanding and collaboration.

I focus on prevention, fostering resilience and life skills, while also providing specialized support and guidance. I believe that through a holistic approach we can create an environment where every child feels accepted, safe, and empowered to develop with confidence.

My Experience

My experience in the field of school psychology has been shaped through extensive training and practical application. I have completed approximately 1,900 hours of practicum at the Educational Psychology Service of the Ministry of Education, Sport and Youth, where I had the opportunity to work with children, parents, and educators on a wide range of issues and challenges. Through daily interaction with diverse school communities, I developed skills in assessment, intervention, and teamwork, while also gaining valuable experience in implementing preventive programs and supporting students with special educational needs. This experience has equipped me with the knowledge and tools to approach every case with sensitivity, professionalism, and responsibility.
